SUSTAINIABILITY & ETHICAL PRACTICES

Sustainable and Ethical Craftsmanship

While looking to the future, we remain committed to sustainable and ethical craftsmanship. Our approach involves using eco-friendly materials, minimizing waste, and ensuring that every piece is crafted with care and integrity. This commitment reflects our belief that the future we envision must be built responsibly and thoughtfully.

Wooden furniture can be sustainable in India, provided it involves responsible practices and ethical sourcing.

1. Sustainable Forestry

The key to sustainable wooden furniture lies in responsible forestry practices. Sustainable forestry involves managing forests in a way that meets current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own. We are committed to planting new trees in order to maintain the ecological balance.

2. We use trees that have naturally fallen

We use the wood of those trees that have fallen in the forest & have arrived in official government depots to be sold to saw mills.

3. We use mostly Reclaimed and Recycled Wood

Using reclaimed or recycled wood from old structures, furniture, or industrial waste is another sustainable approach. This practice reduces the need for new timber and gives a second life to materials that would otherwise be discarded.

4. We use Eco-Friendly Finishes

Using non-toxic, eco-friendly finishes and adhesives can reduce the environmental impact of wooden furniture. These finishes are safer for both the environment and human health.

5. We focus on Durability and Longevity

High-quality wooden furniture is durable and can last for generations. Investing in well-crafted pieces reduces the need for frequent replacements, thereby minimizing waste.

6. Government Regulations and Policies

In India, government regulations and policies play a crucial role in promoting sustainable forestry and woodworking practices. We use woods that have naturally fallen in the forest & have arrived in government depots to be sold. The National Forest Policy and various state-level initiatives aim to protect forests and promote sustainable use of forest resources.
